18th October 2013.

The official judges gather for the process of selecting finalists.

Considering the foundation being established only 6 months ago and the competition being only the first - Inaugural Art Prize, we have had a very SOUND / STRONG response of entries. Entering artists ranged from absolute professionals, amateurs to recent graduates from uni. The judges had sound discussions throughout regarding the entered artworks and after 2 hours of continuous review, came to a final decision. With the entries being exceptionally portrayed throughout, the judges had a hard time in selecting the finalists. However with their strict criteria and judging standards in mind, came to a final conclusion of 37 artists/artworks as finalists.

During the judging process...

Judges reviewing the portrayed images of artworks.

Judges thoroughly reviewing each and every entry, making sure not to miss any details of an artwork.

Judges concentrate to make sure to not miss any details.

The judges engage in discussions throughout...

And finally, the whole judicial process is over, with a final snapshot!

A BIG THANK YOU to all our judges!!
