The site of a track leading to a humble memorial stone dedicated to Ken Myer and his wife Yasuko Hiraoka. The surrounding forest is a legacy left by Myer and business partner Sir Roy Grounds, a restoration of what once stood on the lands of the Dyiringanj peoples (part of the group of indigenous tribes called the Yuin), after is was largely felled and used for timber milling and agriculture in the 1960's.A secluded location which holds a vast amount of history, both recent and ancient, and on a personal note, a place of great peace and inspiration throughout my life. Solo bush adventures in my younger years, and morning walks with my parents currently.
