The starting point for my painting, 'Granite Corridor', was a residency in the Cowra Region of NSW.
Here, Grazing paddocks of ochre grasses are dotted with granite rock formations. The rocks have a strong presence in the landscape and stand like present day sentinels from an ancient geological time.
