It was a rainy afternoon when members started to gather one by one at the Phoenix Chinese Restaurant at Rhodes on the evening of 7th March, 2014. The official welcome and speeches started around 7:30pm, MC'd by the President of the Management Committee and also the founder of KAAF - Mrs Hoim Suh. The meeting began with the treasurer Mrs Kyunghyo Kim giving the members an update and report on the finances for 2013. It was followed by Ms Myungjin Seo, Management Committee addressing the members present regarding the overall business proceedings and results KAAF acquired for the year 2013. The president of the committee then went on with the vision and plan for the upcoming year of 2014.
The Board of Director - Mr Douglas Park addressed the committee and members present with his words of encouragement, and invited guest and director of the Korean Cultural Office, Mr Dongok Lee gave an utmost praise and encouragement for the works of KAAF, its success only within a short period of time and its enlightful vision for the years to come.
The members and committee present enjoyed the time together with great food. It was time well spent and a great opportunity to get to know one another in detail and realise the vast diversity of people from different employment backgrounds come together all with the same interest and vision.
