Opening Reception a Huge Success with around 170 Guests

It was a pleasure to welcome so many artists and guests. After much anticipation and expectation leading upto the event, the KAAF and KCO staff were absolutely delighted to see a wonderful turnout with a lot of laughter, smiles and chit-chat. There were Consul-generals from 11 countries who attended to congratulate and to make this event even more meaningful, council officials, guests from various organisations and associations, curators from various galleries and not to mention, selected artists and their lovely guests. There was no doubt that this event was fulfilling one of KAAF's main motives; to provide and to act as a bridge between many cultures and traditions through the tool of "art". And it was just that. The guests who had attended the event were from many many different backgrounds, proving how multicultural this society is. Let alone, the winners who had won prizes were from a Croatian background, Korean born Australian and an Australian born Uruguayan. It was just wonderful to see everyone getting along so well and enjoying the moment.

Now that we have finally cut the tape with success, we anticipate the following prizes to be even bigger and better!
